Windham Weavers expands DC capacity

Charleston, SC — Multiple category importer Windham Weavers has relocated its distribution facility to a 110,000 square-foot facility here from a smaller site of 60,000 square feet in Chesapeake, VA.

Richard Russo, president, said the company had to relocate because of rapid growth in its table linens, accent rugs and decorative pillow offerings as well as a strong reception to its debut of window coverings, a category introduced in February.

"We attribute our growth to being very focused on our strengths in product, and becoming more vertical in our product offerings," Russo said.

Windham Weavers' offices are based in Ridgefield, CT and it operates a showroom in New York at 295 Fifth Ave.
