Windham Weavers unveils colorful Fiesta line

At the New York Market — Windham Weavers is straddling the past and the present through its new partnership with dinnerware brand Fiesta — the long recognized, color-rich American-made china from the Homer Laughlin China Company (Newell, W.V.)

Windham's program in the license from Homer Laughlin will include tablecloths, placemats, runners, napkins, window tiers, valances, window panels, accent and area rugs, decorative pillows, pot holders, oven mitts, kitchen towels and aprons. It will be ready for shipping this fall and hit store shelves prior to the holiday season.

Richard Russo, president, Windham Weavers, told HTT that the first phase of products will target specialty chains and department stores, "to offer them coordinate pieces to their current Fiesta lines."

"As our consumers and collectors understand, products bearing the Fiesta brand name are subject to the highest quality standards," said Joseph Wells III, president and ceo, Homer Laughlin. "We are confident that the Fiesta marketplace will be both protected and upheld as a result of the Windham Weavers license agreement."
